How many weapons does it take to win a war? Far more than one, two, or half a dozen!
One list I consulted showed that during World War II, the United States alone used 77 different types of weapons. And that didn’t include all the special tactics used in reconnaissance and spying – like carrier pigeons. Nor did it include the weapons used by our Allies.
Given the all-encompassing nature of that war, it’s highly doubtful we could’ve won it with any fewer weapons.
Which begs the question…
How many weapons do you deploy in your quest for new business?
You could be the most skilled person on earth in your trade or profession. But if no one knows about you and why they should do business with you, you might as well not exist.
That’s why so many who are talented in their trade have trouble paying their bills.
The question you must ask every morning…
“What can I do to earn new business today?”
Of course, it’s much easier to think of business-getting ideas than it is to actually implement them. And then put them on autopilot. But commanders and generals are those who not only chart their course of action, but implement their plans.
And if you want to succeed in business, you’ll want to be sure you’re implementing. A lot. Using many weapons, not just one or two.
Obviously it’s also important to be sure you’re doing things right… carefully choosing your target audience, making sure your branding is right, crafting the right offer.
So commit to the promises you make to yourself. If you find it difficult to do so, find a coach or mastermind group to help keep you on track. It’ll pay off in spades.
